Sintering machine head

Sintering varies due to factors such as region, product, and process parameters. The dust temperature is high, and it contains a certain amount of harmful gases such as SO₂ and NOx.

          

          

Sintering machine tail

The dust from the sintering machine tail originates from the discharge at the tail, the cooling and crushing of hot - ores, screening, and storage - transportation equipment. The dust particles are relatively large, with high humidity.


Coking

During coking, there are many types of pollutants, mainly dust, SO₂, NOx, as well as carcinogens such as Bap and BSO. The dust has a wide coverage and contains tar.

          

Ironmaking in blast furnace

Under normal working conditions, the temperature of blast furnace gas is between 150 and 300 °C. In abnormal situations, the temperature fluctuation range can reach from 100 to 600 °C. The blast furnace gas contains 20% to 30% of carbon monoxide (CO), which is flammable and explosive.


Steelmaking in electric arc furnace

The smelting process in an electric furnace generally consists of the melting stage, the oxidation stage and the reduction stage. During the oxidation stage, the temperature of the flue gas can reach 1200-1400 °C.


Pelletizing

The dust is corrosive, has high temperature, and high moisture characteristics.

     

Continuous casting and steel rolling

A large amount of iron oxide dust, water vapor, and oil mist are generated during the lubrication and cooling processes of hot rolling. The cold - rolling process is similar to the hot - rolling process, and the pollutants are mainly water vapor and oil mist. Black smoke will be generated during the pipe rolling process, and the flue gas contains a variety of incomplete combustion carbides such as iron oxide.
