The density of raw meal and cement can reach 20g/m³, and the dust particles are relatively fine, with risks of combustion and explosion, requiring explosion - proof design.

Rotary kiln calcination

The tail gas of the kiln can reach 220 - 350 °C, requiring high - temperature - resistant materials. The dust contains clinker particles and has a relatively high alkalinity. 

Clinker cooling and cement grinding

The temperature is low but the dust has strong adhesion and is easy to accumulate.
